Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.
What is Whale One in one sentence?
A low-code framework for building web apps, mobile apps, SaaS, and cloud apps — pre-built modules that let a small team ship an MVP in weeks instead of months.
Who is Whale One for?
Startup founders and small product teams who need production-grade software fast, and engineering leaders who want a golden path without locking the team into a rigid platform.
How is Whale One different from a no-code tool?
No-code is mostly a UI builder. Whale One is a low-code framework: you get the speed of presets and templates, but you can still bring in custom code, legacy code, or new integrations when you need to.
Do I need to commit to a specific cloud provider?
No. Whale One works on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, and on-prem Kubernetes. The same modules ship anywhere.
How long does the MVP actually take?
Two weeks for a typical startup surface area (landing + blog + admin + CRM + a couple of integrations). Larger systems take longer — we plan that with you during the audit.
What is the difference between Docks and Native?
Docks is for moving existing apps to a more mature cloud-native setup. Native is for greenfield — free to start, pay per module of customisation or deployment.
Who maintains the code after launch?
Your team does. We deliver a handover (typically 30 days) and can stay on as Whale One Advisory retainers if you want senior architects on call.
Where is Whale One based?
Whale One is operated by Cyber Whale SRL, registered in the Republic of Moldova and a resident of the IT Park of Moldova.
